I’m new to programming and thought I would give this a try. However, I hit a snag. I’m using the raspberry pi B+ and when I put the program on the Micro SD card and start up I’m left on the DOS esque screen with the wording and the very bottom is.

PANIC:VFS:Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(179.2)

Entering kdb(current=0xcf03800, pd1) due to keyboard Entry kdb>

Key board doesn’t respond, Is there a step I’m missing? any help would be appreciated.

Sort of. I’m on a mac and when I used pifiller it couldn’t locate the SD card. So I dragged the opened image files to the card itself. Is that the problem I didn’t use a card builder? if so do you guys have a card builder for micro SDs?
