    ok, so i no that emulators can be set by pressing “select + x” as a rom boots/loads, and theres an option for selecting your desired emulator.. but is there a config file that states which emulator is for each system? and if so can this be edited? if not how does it generate the emulator list?

    thanks in advance

    Hi InsecureSpike,

    I think what you are searching for are the files

    Every system should have a file like this that lists the available emulators in the form:

    <shortname> = <runcommand>

    it will also have a line

    default = <shortname>

    which is the default emulator that is currently used for this system. You can change it to another <shortname> to change it, that is what the menu script does.

    thank for that i’ll look into it
