Just a small thing I noticed after adding a full AdvMAME rom set last night, the images used for both this and MAME4ALL are the same, could a different image be included for AdvMAME in future releases?

I only know the difference between the two by the number of roms present at the moment.

I guess it needs a new advancemame directory here:
    /etc/emulationstation/themes/simple

You could copy the mame one and put in your own image I guess (then edit the es_systems.cfg)

I plan on doing something similar for PC Engine CD and SuperGrafx so I might do that if I am successful with those. Thanks man.

The images are pretty easy to edit, I use Inkscape, which is free.

Thanks man, can you easily create the blur effect on an image using Inkscape?

Blur is more of a gimp thing. I use Gaussian blur at a setting of around 15-18:

And gimp of course is also free 😀

Thanks for your help guys, I downloaded GIMP and took a screenshot using RetroArch Windows to create a custom PC Engine theme 🙂

I used 15 Gaussian blur, might increase it to 18 as it might not be blurry enough, very happy it worked though!
