Hey guys, super n00b here as I just got everything going this morning.

I am curious though, is there a way to map savestates to multiple button presses on a SNES controller? (i.e L+R+X or something similar)

So far my only draw back to using this over my Wii as an emulation system is the lack of a visual savestate menu, and being extremely unfamiliar with all of this I just need some advice on setting it up. I’ve searched the internet but have come up with nothing.

If it matters I run Mac OS as well.

Thanks in advanced everyone, and feel free to explain to me like I’m 5 years old, I won’t take offense to it :D

EDIT – I am running RetroPie 3.0 rc1 as well.

By default select+right shoulder is save, select+left shoulder is load

They’re called hotkeys and there is a a setting for it in the auto configs that were created when you first configured your controller (if you’re on retropie 3 rc1)

Well thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it.

Curious why that didn’t come up in my searching, perhaps I didn’t search hard enough.

    Anyway, thanks a bunch!
