Hey guys, fairly new to the raspi but i’ve been trudging along and have my retropie almost setup – just needing to figure out this MAME stuff.

As the title says, I’m on RetroPie 2.6. I’m putting my game roms in the /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-libretro directory and they are loading fine. Well, i’ve only added 2, but they both load – ones got a distorted aspect ratio but i’m not as concerned about that.

The game I’m having issues with is Mortal Kombat 2, it’s 100% playable but the buttons are not layed out the same as say the SNES version.

Is there some way to customize the controller configuration for specific games?

For mame-libretro on 2.6 you can override the default controller by putting settings here:
    /opt/retropie/configs/mame/retroarch.cfg

    More details here:

Check a video to see how to manage controllers

    Some more MK info
