With the new update to RetroPie, I have noticed that I have to reconfigure my controllers every time I unplug them then plug them back in. I am not using a USB hub, so when ever I need to plug in a keyboard, I have to unplug the controllers. Is there a way to stop this? Since I will always be using the same controller, I would think that I could map it once then just use the that.

What controllers are you using? I swap controllers/keyboards all the time and haven’t had this problem. Have you tried taking ownership of the retroarch. Cfg file?

I use original snes controllers plugged into a usb adapter. How would I take control of the retroarch.cfg file? I can save changes to it, so if it is just a permission thing, I may already have it.
