    Hi!

First I’ll start with what I have and what I’ve done.

    -Raspberry Pi2
-16GB Samsung SD Card with a clean install of RetroPie Beta3

For starters I followed the guide on http://lifehacker.com/how-to-turn-your-raspberry-pi-into-a-retro-game-console-498561192

Went through the whole process including these steps.

Navigate to the RetroPie menu in EmulationStation
Scroll down to Raspberry Pi Configuration Tool
Here, you’ll see the familiar raspi-config menu. Using your keyboard, select “Expand File System” and press Enter
Select “Advanced” and then select “Memory Split”
If you have a Raspberry Pi 2, enter 512 in the field and press Enter. If you’re on an A+ enter in 128. If you’re using a B+, enter in 256
Scroll down to “Overclock” and press Enter. If you’re on the Raspberry Pi 2, select “Pi2” and press Enter
When you’re done, press ESC to return to the EmulationStation menu

I was able to configure my PS3 controller no problem. Then I transfered my roms to their corresponding folders.

I boot up the Pi and I see that theres no PSX option between the available emulators. So I start searching for a solution and I followed this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6-VOCyDoTc

I added the PSX BIOS to the RetroPie BIOS Folder and changed the files as the video said, rebooted the Pie and nothing. The PSX option still doesnt show in my emulator options. How can I get that to work?

Also the SNES Emulator “tries” to load up a ROM but after selecting it it just goes back to the ROM list and doesnt do anything. In the other hand NES emulator runs perfectly.

    Halp!

    Hi,

have you put roms in the /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx folder. .bin files?
Lets concentrate on that one for now, emu’s that don’t show up don’t have any visible roms.

    Thanks

Hmmmm… I dont think so, I think all I roms put in there have .zip extensions

Rule of thumb- don’t use zip files unless its mame, FBA, or neogeo. I always extract my ROMs first and haven’t had any problems. See each emulator page for accepted file types on the wiki:

The zip files tip fixed all my problems. Thanks!
