Hello!
I recently discovered the RetroPie project, and I have some questions about the first installation guide.

1. What’s the minimum/suggested memory card size I need?
2. Is the Official Raspberry Pi WiFi Dongle supported?
3. Why a 5V 2A power supply is required in place of the standard 5V 1A?

1. depends on how many files / games you want to put on it
2. yes
3. which standard 1a psu ? The one on their website is 2a – http://swag.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-universal-power-supply you will need a 2a PSU for reliable working / and to use USB peripherals

Thank you for your answer. About the point 3, as far as I know, the Raspberry works well with the 1A power supply that we use for charging our mobile phones. The 2A power supply is needed if you need to connect a lot of external devices (for example, an hard disk). Is this the situation?

Yes otherwise it may not have enough power to run. Unless of course you invest in a powered USB hub. Typically you’ll know you aren’t getting enough power when either peripheral devices don’t work or a rainbow square shows up in the top right corner of the screen.
