    Hi,

I’m running an image of Retropie without any real issues on an 8GB Micro SD card. I downloaded the image from this website and used a tool to deploy it to my Micro SD card.

My issue is that sometimes I am unable to save the game state and I think this is because my filesystem is full. When I exit emulationstation I see a message stating “rootfs size 1.8GB, used 1.7GB, 100%.

I’m confused because my MicroSD card is 8GB so surely it has spare capacity?

When I view my MicroSD card in windows it simply shows as “Boot” with 42 / 58MB free. So I guess when it boots on the Pi, it unpacks to a temporary filesystem?

Can anyone explain how it works and if it’s possible to specify a larger filesystem?

    Many Thanks,

    Phil

Apologies I’m very new to Linux, how would I expand the filesystem? It’s an 8GB SD card.
