    Hi!

I just found this project on kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1815752970/multi-function-ssd-shield-for-the-raspberry-pi-2
And I was wandering if it could be compatible with retropie, especialy the storage and Wifi solution he can provide!
I asked directly to the creators of this project and for them, if the driver are rightfully install, no problem.
Do you think it could be relatively easy to configure with retropie ?

    Thanks for your answer!

I see no reason why it wouldn’t work :) You’d need to figure out a way to flash the OS to the SSD, but I imagine that’s not difficult.

No the OS still on a SDCard, you can only boot with it if i’m not wrong…
I was thinking on store all data (rom, save state, gamelist, etc…) inside the ssd for the pretty large capacity (and reading speed) he could offer.
So my concern is more like, can we easely use the ssd like we could use an usb Key?
