The recent change log doesn’t really go into much detail, but does the new Jessie image offer any performance boost? Does it allow more CPU/RAM usage for the emulators?
Are there any other benefits? I’m interested to see any actual performance increase by using the newest version of debian.
I believe Jessie is actually a bit more resource-intensive than Wheezy – I base this entirely upon a thread on some other board I read where a person posted ram usage stats for clean wheezy and jessie installs
Yep, it installs from the retropie setup script. I had to manually update to version 15 after I installed it though, because the script installed version 14.2. Idk if that’s still the case.
