I set up an old arcade table retropie system and I am making a “key” for the buttons so players know what buttons do what in each system. I am a Nintendo guy so the buttons for that are easy to map (A,B,X,Y,L,R) and I have the retropie cfg set up with the top, bottom, left, right, Left trigger, R trigger. For Nintendo games, that pattern works perfect, but Genesis controllers do not have buttons arranged top, bottom, left and right.
So…. What I need to know is, how do the Sega A,B,C,X,Y,Z buttons line up with the way I have retriopie cfg configured? i.e. Is A the “bottom button”, B the “right button” and so on?
When I press the “bottom button” in retropie cfg, I know in Nintendo, this is the B button. But what is it on Sega?
