    I have been having trouble mounting my new HDD, it does not show up in
    sudo blkid
    Or
    sudo fdisk -l

    I do not know what is wrong
    The HDD is a Seagate 1TB and is NTSF, I originally had an NTSF drive connected before but that broke. It would be great if you can figure out what is wrong.

    Is it powered by the Pi or it’s own power source/usb hub? I read alot of people having issues with external drives being underpowered, causing them to not come up.

    if this is a non external my powered hdd, try this, I’d also recommend getting yourself a USB Y-cable

    sudo nano /boot/config.txt

    and add this, right at the bottom

    max_usb_current=1

    then save and reboot
