    guy’s are there any guides on how to use folders?
    as i can’t get game lists to work in them?
    its literally making me go mad,

    Check the file es_systems.cfg.
    It has the informations about the emulators (commandline) and the folder to place Roms.

    How are you using folders?

    I’m using them in each rom folder to separate games by genre. It works beautifully as is. When I exit emulation station it does give an error that the gamelists for any games I’ve used the scraper on won’t update, but after they’ve been scraped and are in their place in the folders I don’t see a need for them to update.

    yup i understand how the es_systems.cfg works,

    i’m trying to use then for translations, hacks and so on, but just can’t get game lists to get recognised, they are all manually edited, and work if i add them to a system if its in the main carousel
