    Hi , i have a Raspberry PI B+ with 512M Ram , i have installed Retropie , and all works perfect but the Operative System only takes 250 MB of Ram Memory (With Raspbian works all the 512MB) , i dont know why , if somebody knows how to solve it .

    All Update done with

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
    sudo rpi-update

    But still not complete memory .

    Thank You Very Much .

    Problem Solved , is just the /boot/config.txt
    The configuration automatically set the memory to 256 and 256 to GPU if you have 512 MB of RAM .

    Solution : remove all the gpu_mem_ lines , and set manually to
    gpu_mem=64

    Better gpu_mem=128

    gpu_mem=64 gives many problems in raspberry b+
