    not to diverge from this forum.. but Id like to get quake3 up and runnning in retropie. I have openarena working, but would realy like to get quake3 going… I found this: http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianQuake3

    but for some reason the line ” git clone https://github.com/raspberrypi/quake3.git” kicks back with a 404 code.. but I can goto the page and see the files…

    anyway, anyone know how to get this file into the pi?

    thanks for all responses in advance…

    Type:
    # cd /RetroPie/emulators/

    …and do this…

    If everything runs edit your es_systems.cfg and add the following lines:

    DESCNAME=QUAKE 3
    NAME=quake3
    PATH=/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/quake3
    EXTENSION=.txt
    COMMAND=xinit /home/pi/RetroPie/emulators/quake3/build/release-linux-arm/ioquake3.arm

    Finally you must create a empty *.txt file (like start.txt) under RetroPie/roms/quake3.
