Got the PSX to work but some games come with lots of what I assume would be audio tracks, but in the games list they shows up, so for example I have Rayman, I see the game then I see about 30 files listed under that with Rayman track 1,2,3, etc
…Or just remove .bin and .BIN from the list of extensions recognized by EmulationStation for PlayStation by making a quick edit to /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg
It sounded to me like they were pre-merged audio files, so potentially no cue file yet, or at least not one with pointers to audio. But yes, if you want to hide a filetype, you can do just as you say by editing the es_systems.cfg file.
