So My new PI 2 B’s showed up. I have a unified one image fits all devices approach. Thus I use Berry Boot to run a tri boot Raspbian / Kodi / Retropie across 5 pi’s.

I already know how to update the raspbian image to run on both pi’s, working on the gotham to kodi upgrade. Hoping I can upgrade.

So please tell me I do not have to re-install the retropie and re-copy over 20k in games / scrapper images etc.

Is there a clear defined path on how to patch / update the reptropie to work on both arm versions of the pi yet?

    Please Advise & Thank You

if you run all updates for Retropie whilst using the Pi1, you’ll download the new kernel which adds support for the Pi2.

Personally, I found it easier to back up my customisations and use a new image.

Ya with mu custom image I already had to wipe everything to move to berry boot 2. So its already backed up I just got to redo it all … Bleh…

But Ubuntu LXDE instead of Raspbian so we will see.

Seems like its just easier to redo it all.
