    I need to resize the capcom games to fill the whole screen but after that the sound nolonger works only for thos games.

    Maybe you have deleted qsound.ZIP, which is necessary to play sound in CPS2 games.

    no it has everything to do with the resolution. All my other games are in 800×6000 and play perfectly widescreen and fit my tv. The mvs games at that resolution have thick black bars at the top and botton and dont fit the screen fully. The only resolution that fits the screen for these games is 1360×768 which is the native resolution on my tv. When I play the mvs games in this resolution sometimes the sound works sometimes it does. Prime example I just changed the resolution from 800×600 to 1360×768 and the sound played. I exited the game and went back it still played. When I restarted retropie and went to play a mvs game the sound nolonger plays.
