    I am trying to use the version of unreal speccy portable that supports joysticks and it works fine if i launch it from the command line however if i change the spectrum emulator in emulationstation to use this it always comes back with the following error:

    usp: ../../devices/memory.cpp:84: void eRom::LoadRom(int, const char*): Assertion `f’ failed.
    /opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/ line 554: 3682 Aborted /opt/retropie/emulators/fuse/bin/usp “/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/zxspectrum/007 – Q’s Armoury (1990)(Domark).tzx”

    here is my emulator.cfg that is in my zxspectrum config folder:

    fbzx=”/opt/retropie/emulators/fbzx/fbzx %ROM%”
    fuse-48k=”/opt/retropie/emulators/fuse/bin/fuse –machine 48 %ROM%”
    fuse-128k=”/opt/retropie/emulators/fuse/bin/fuse-sdl –machine 128 %ROM%”
    unreal-128k=”/opt/retropie/emulators/fuse/bin/usp %ROM%”

    Can anyone help? someone must be using this emulator too as joystick does not work in fuse (or fuse-sdl)
