    First off the info bits:

    Raspberry Pi 3
Latest version of Retropie – running the daemon for Xarcadejstik
    Xarcade Tank Stick

I cannot for the life of me find how to enable “mouse” support to make the trackball work. I read a lot of the posts regarding Mame4all not accepting a trackball, but that AdvMame should use it. Can anyone point a very new Retropie/RaspberryPi user in the right direction?

    Sincerely!

    Thanks!

Well, being the IT person I am for the last 25 years – I decided to do some hardware diagnostics.. I found out that the track ball DID register controls within the jstest – so I started by removing the keyboard and the thumb drive I had plugged into the Pi 3.. and Viola! The trackball started working in AdvMame!!!!

Solved for ADVMame, now if we can find a solution for Mame4all 😉
