    Hey there – everything is working as per normal except two things

      There’s no background or logos when in emulationstation – just a white background and the words that say SNES, PC, NES, etc
      Scraping a game is veeeeerry slow

    Which model Pi do you have and what is your memory split, ES 2 requires at least 128MB GPU ram

    Hey there – I’ve got the B+ and I think I actually forgot to the do the memory split on setup … can I still go back and do that?

    Yes, sudo nano /boot/config.txt

    Change to: gpu_mem=256

    If that doesn’t work try 384

    so once I change the splits all the backgrounds should come up?

    It’s a guess, I have seen similar issue related to GPU ram with the new Emulation Station. You need to reboot after editing config.txt
