I recently updated to RetroPie 3.6 using this guide. All went well, but I’m running into a persistent issue involving the video output.

The problem: All of my ROMs for all of the emulators will only play in the old 640 x 480 video output mode, and it won’t respond to any of the changes that I’ve tried to make to the default output mode. Even when I set it to 1280 x 720, it only plays the ROMS at 640 x 480. I’ve double checked, and while the default output mode has been changed the RetroPie refuses to launch the ROM in anything other than 640 x 480. Gross.

Any suggestions for fixing this? I’m using:

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B
Running RetroPie 3.6
