I’ve been working on a bartop for a while. :)

    progress

    artwork
accidentally chose the wrong sticker ended up being a sticker normally used for windows (so half transperant dotted pattern) which actually give’s it an even cooler effect… I like happy accidents like that hehe

    t-molding
The gap was a little bit to big so I was forced to use glue. I ended up using giftwrapper string to wrap it up and tighten untill the glue dried.

    closeup :)

    taking form

    adding plexiglass
I went with a carbon fiber car sticker after smoothing out the mdf wood.
    extra plexi for protection.

    screen attached

    marquee and screen

also used spraypaint on the marquee holding strips nice and shiny compared to mattblack finish.

    Soon starting on the guts!

I vectorized the design but I can’t seem to find the maker of the original artwork.

also modified a bunch of it.

Excellent work peanut. I’m gonna jump on the wagon as well and ask for the plans. I’d like to downsize my mame cab to something similar.
